The shutter curtains are constructed from three different gauge ranging from 18 to 22 gauge. The laths are interlocking galvanized steel with a T section preformed bottom rail. Both curtain and bottom rail run down a mild steel guide section supported via a 50 x 100 mm channel.

The curtain rolls around a tube which has counter balance helical spring mounted to a bright steel shaft within the tube. The tube is driven via cast bearing's either through a 3-phase motor and single phase motor or cast hand chain system. The tube is supported by mild steel end plate mounted to the side of the 50 x 100 mm channel. All shutter doors over 5 meters are fitted with wind anchor end locks and wind anchor guides.

Operation Options

Electrical operation can be achieved several ways.

   

Option 1

To operate through a 3-phase operated external motor with low level push button station and emergency override chain
   
   
   

Option 2

To operate via single-phase external motor with low level push button station and emergency override chain.
   
   
   

Option 3

An internal tube motor operated via a key switch, with emergency crank handle for override purposes. This would be common in all electric shop front shutters.
   
   
   

Application

Each door is purpose made to fit each individual opening and is constructed using the finest quality materials. These doors can be used as faced fixed or between jambs, application to both steel and brick work.
