The door panels are formed from galvanized steel sheets of aluminium, bonded together with high density CFC free polyurethane foam to provide an 'u' valve of 0.40 w/mk with thermal break between panels. The vertical side track wheels carriage and hinges are all galvanized, each door is carefully counter balanced by means of helical springs at high level. These springs are mounted to a bright steel shaft which in turn is mounted to bearing plates with self align bearings for smooth operation. Rubber seals are fitted to top and bottom of the door and a plastic seal runs down each side of the galvanized side track to seal against the weather.

Operation, Finishes & Key benefits

   

Operation

Manual operations are achieved via two systems the first is to manually pull up the door and pull down to close, the other is to operate the door via a pull chain system which you pull to close the door. Electric operation is by installing a 3-phase motor to the bright steel shaft, which would be operated from low level via push-button station. In the event of a system failure there is an emergency override cable located to the rear of the motor, which will release the brake enabling the door to be raised by hand.
